Colleges in Assam are taking precautionary measures to keep campuses safe and less populated in view of the COVID19 pandemic.
Colleges in Assam will open up for classes and will accommodate final year students in the college hostels announced the education minister.
Addressing a press conference in Guwahati Dr. Sarma said, “With fewer COVID19 cases in the state we have decided to reopen the college hostels for the final year students only. For residential schools, classes 10 to 12 will be opened. Degree final year, engineering final year students or polytechnic final year students can return to their respective hostels from December 15.”
