Bongaigaon,17th August : S Abbasi ,IAS,Additional Chief Secretary arrived at flood affected area at Huramara today morning and took stock of the situation.
Dr. M S Lakshmi Priya,IAS,Deputy Commissioner,Bongaigaon also today visits flood affected area of Huramara pt-i and Huramara pt-ii under Srijangram Revenue Circle of Bongaigaon district.The Deputy Commissioner inspects the breach of embankment of Aie River at Huramara pt-i and Huramara pt-ii and directs officials of Water Resource to repair the same at an early.The Deputy Commissioner inspects also erosion of Aie River at Huramara and directs to do anti-erosion work.Dr. M S Lakshmi Priya ,the Deputy Commissioner asks the officials of Water Resource department to complete the repairment work of breach of embankment of Aie River at an early.
She visits the flood affected area of Balarpet also under the Revenue Circle.
Partha Sarathi Jahari, SDO(C),North Salmara,Pallab Jyoti Nath,Circle Officer, Srijangram,Aktaruz Zaman Azad,Executive Engineer,Water Resource,Rabin Das,Assistant Executive Engineer, Water Resource ,Bongaigaon, Ananta Samanta,District Project Officer, District Disaster Management Authority,Bongaigaon,Rakibul Islam,Field Officer,Srijangram Revenue Circle were companied with her at the time of visit.
Barsing Rangpi,the Chief Engineer of Water Resource Department also inspected today the breach of embankment of Aie River.
