All weekly markets to be closed in Bongaigaon due to surge in COVID-19 cases in the district

BONGAIGAON: The deputy commissioner of Bongaigaon has ordered closure of all weekly markets in the district in view of ongoing COVID-19 situation.

The decision comes after the district reported spike in COVID-19 cases in last few days.

“..in order to contain further spread of COVID-19 in the district do hereby recommend that all weekly markets of Bongaigaon district will be closed down w.e.f. 07/05/2021 until further orders,” said the order issued by the deputy commissioner.
