BONGAIGAON : Cheque distribution of Chief Minister's Covid-19 Widow Support Scheme


Bongaigaon,17th July : Today in the afternoon Cheque distribution program was held under the "Chief Minister's Covid-19 Widows Support Scheme" to the beneficiaries by Ranjit Kumar Dass, Minister of PHE, FCS & CA,P & RD,SAD,GAD Department and Guardian Minister of Bongaigaon.The program was held in the conference hall of Office of the Deputy Commissioner,Bongaigaon in presence of Phani Bhusan Choudhury, MLA,Bongaigaon LAC,Dr. M S Lakshmi Priya, Deputy Commissioner, Bongaigaon, Bhaskar Das, District Development Commissioner,Nadira Jesmin,Chief Executive Officer,Zilla Parishad,Pankaj Chamuah, Nabajyoti Ojha, Shyamal Kshetra Gogoi( ADCs),Partha Sarathi Jahari, ADC & i/c SDO(C), North Salmara,all Circle Officers,Assistance Commissioners etc. to 27 beneficiaries of Bongaigaon district.

      The Minister Mr. Ranjit Kumar Dass says that Chief Minister is giving the Cheque of 2.50lacs of Rs.to the Covid-19 widows as support to her after the death of the only earning person of her family.Thus the Chief Minister shows his sympathy to the widows,says Minister Dass.Himanta Biswa Sarma,Chief Minister and former Health Minister has been leading the process of health and other support in case of Covid-19 pandemic from the beginning till date.

      MLA Phani Bhusan Choudhury asks the beneficiaries to cooperate with Administration to make Bongaigaon district Covid free in his speech. He also asks them to be aware of Covid so that nobody has to lose life in Covid-19 pandemic in future.

       At the beginning of the function Dr. M S Lakshmi Priya,IAS,Deputy Commissioner welcomes everybody present in the program.

         One minute silence for eternal peace of dead ones in Covid-19 pandemic was observed in the program.

        Before cheque distribution program Guardian Minister's Office Room was also inaugurated by Minister Ranjit Kumar Dass in Circuit House,Bongaigaon.
