NUR SULTAN; World Championships bronze medallist Jamuna Boro got the better of Kazakhstan’s Anel Sakysh to enter the final of Elorda cup in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan on Sunday.
Jamuna, who hails from Dhekiajuli in Assam’s Sonitpur district, produced a clinical performance against the home boxer to emerge victories by unanimous margin in the 54kg semi-final.
Apart from Jamuna, three other Indian boxers, Kalaivani Srinivasan (48kg), Gitika (48kg) and Alfiya (81+kg) will play the final on Monday.
