Unsuccessful Candidates in ADRE (Grd III & IV) Government Job Exams Left Waiting for Promised Fee Refunds

GUWAHATI, September 16, 2023; Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma's promise to refund the fees paid by unsuccessful candidates in the Assam Direct Recruitment Exam 2023 for Grade III and IV posts has encountered delays, leaving candidates waiting anxiously.

In a recent statement, CM Sarma had assured that those who did not pass the written examination would receive a refund of their examination fees. The reimbursement was supposed to be facilitated through the same bank accounts used for fee payment.

However, concerns have arisen as several months have passed since the successful candidates joined their respective jobs, and the promised refunds are yet to be disbursed. This delay has left many candidates questioning when they will receive their money back.

Candidates who eagerly await the return of their fees are growing increasingly frustrated, as they anticipated timely refunds following the completion of the selection process and the joining of successful candidates in their new roles.

As the delay persists, candidates and their families are urging the government to expedite the refund process, fulfilling the commitment made by CM Sarma and providing much-needed relief to those who were unsuccessful in the examination.
