Bongaigaon, Sept 25 : As a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Swachhata Hi Sewa,2021 is planned to observe from 15th Sept.2021 to 2nd Oct.2021 under the Public Health Engineering department, Bongaigaon. Swachhata Shramdaan, construction of compost pit at Schools, Anganwadi Centres, Gram Panchayat Offices, Satyagraha se Swachhagraha -Swachhata Rath yatra,resolution to Ban use of single use plastic and took measure to become ODF plus,Swachhata Samvad with PRI members,Swachha Gaon Panchayat Award and celebration of Swachha Bharat Diwas on 2nd Oct.2021is the series of activities planned under Swachhata Hi Sewa,2021 programme.
On the other hand,Swachh Survekshan Grameen,2021is one of the largest cleanliness Survey across the Nation. As a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Swachh Survekshan Grameen,2021 aims to support acceleratation of ODF plus interventions and results across the country.In Bongaigaon district for encouraging healthy participation of large scale of citizen in Swachh Survekshan Grameen,2021 Public Health Engineering department has planned some Awareness Generation Activities-those are advertisement through Banners/Hoardings in Govt.Offices,Public places, like Hospitals, Stations, Shops etc., leaflet distribution,Swachh Survekshan 2021,Mobile Van,wall painting in prominent places and interventional Communication by Swachhagrahis and Jal Mitras.
Today Dr.MS Lakshmi Priya,IAS,Deputy Commissioner,Bongaigaon had taken a VC with BDOs and Presidents and Secretaries of Gaon Panchayats under the program of Swachhata Samvad.
